Annual Taste of Bronzeville returns with bigger venue, bolder flavors

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Taste of Bronzeville festival is back for its second year, celebrating food, culture, and community on Chicago's South Side. The event takes place Saturday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at XS Tennis (5336 S. State St.).

Admission is $10.

Founded by local cousins known as The Bradleys, the festival features over 20 food and merchandise vendors, live cooking demos, DJ sets and family-friendly activities.

This year's lineup includes Chef Patrick "Chef Prep," who previewed his jerk mushroom nachos on ABC7 ahead of the event.

"Taste of Bronzeville isn't just about great food, it's a celebration of our culture and community," organizers said.
