Robert Held has been battling with ICE and the Village over limits on protests at the ICE facility.

Held filed a lawsuit against Broadview last week seeking a Temporary Restraining Order that would bar the village from enforcing a designated "protest zone" outside the ICE detention facility.

Held contends that the factual basis for maintaining a designated protest zone near the facility has changed, claiming that the facility is far less active than it was last fall.

There will be a hearing on the case on Tuesday.

He also filed a civil lawsuit against a federal officer who he said attacked him in December.

Agent Adam Saracco plead guilty to misdemeanor battery against Held last month and was given probation.

ABC7 reached out to the Broadview facility for a response.
