Balfour loses appeal in Hudson family murder

CHICAGO (WLS) -- William Balfour, the man serving three life sentences for killing three members of singer Jennifer Hudson's family, lost his appeal.

Balfour was married to Hudson's sister, Julia.

The appellate court affirmed the circuit court's findings in the case and denied Balfour's appeal.
