CHICAGO (WLS) -- A driver is facing charges after allegedly crashing into a building in Beverly early Thursday morning, Chicago police said.
The crash happened at about 2:20 a.m. in the 1800-block of West 103rd Street.
Police said a driver lost control and jumped the curb before crashing into the side of the building.
The man driving the car was transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition. No other injuries were reported.
The alleged driver, 41-year-old Reginald Fisher, has been charged with misdemeanor counts of fleeing or trying to elude an officer and driving with a suspended license, police confirmed on Friday.
Fisher, of Blue Island, was also cited for failing to reduce speed, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a valid registration.
He is due in court on Sunday.
