

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Officials have identified the 22-year-old man shot and killed while sitting in the driver's seat in Chicago on Sunday.
The shooting happened at about 5:58 a.m. in the 4200-block of S. Wentworth Avenue, according to police.

CPD said a 22-year-old man was sitting in the driver's seat when two cars pulled up next to him and started shooting.
The man was shot in the chest and shoulder. He died at the scene, police said.
He was identified as Mikquale Cooper, 22 of Chicago, by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
CPD detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
