A Bloomingdale police officer is on leave after allegedly misusing the Flock surveillance camera system, village and DuPage County officials said.

DUPAGE COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- A west suburban police officer has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly misusing the department's Flock surveillance camera system, officials said.

The village of Bloomingdale says the officer may have used the systems for a reason that is not allowed.

The case has been sent to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office for a review.
