Body of missing 90-year-old woman found in lagoon on SW Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The body of a 90-year-old woman was found in a Chicago lagoon on Wednesday, police said.

Police said they were called at about 6:46 a.m. in the 2200-block of W. Pershing Road in McKinley Park, police said.

A woman was found unresponsive in the water. She died at the scene, Chicago police said.

She was identified as 90-year-old Fengling Qi, CPD said. Qi was last seen Sunday.

Chicago police are conducting a death investigation. Autopsy results are pending.
