
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new CEO has been chosen for the Chicago Housing authority.
The CHA Board of Commissioners on Tuesday named Keith Pettigrew to take over the agency.
Pettigrew is a longtime public housing administrator, having worked in Washington, DC, and New Orleans. He was picked after a nationwide search.
Mayor Brandon Johnson had pushed for former Chicago Alderman Walter Burnett Jr. to be the new CHA CEO.
