CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thanksgiving prep just got a little easier thanks to Chef Darnell Reed of Luella's Southern Kitchen, who joined ABC 7 Chicago's morning show Tuesday to share soulful holiday tips, including how to perfect a peach cobbler.
Reed demonstrated his Brown Sugar Roasted Peach Cobbler and explained the key to keeping it firm, not soupy. He also cleared up a classic holiday question: dressing versus stuffing. "Dressing is baked outside the bird, stuffing goes inside," Reed said. "It's all about family tradition."
The Chicago chef recently moved Luella's Southern Kitchen into a larger space with outdoor seating, offering more room for guests to enjoy his Southern-inspired menu.
