All lanes closed on westbound I-80 in south suburbs, ISP says

MORRIS, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois State Police said all westbound I-80 lanes were closed in the south suburbs on Monday amid an investigation.

At 8:53 a.m. all traffic heading westbound was diverted off the expressway onto Route 47 near Morris, Illinois.

ISP did not give further information regarding the investigation.

It is unknown when lanes will reopen.
