
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating three burglaries at smoke shops that took place early Thursday morning.
The first burglary took place just after 2 a.m. in the 4500-block of North Sheridan Road in Uptown. Police arrived on the scene and reported damage to the store's glass front door. Initial investigation also indicated an ATM was taken from the store and loaded into a red vehicle that then drove away.
The second took place just before 3 a.m. in the 4800-block of West Foster Avenue in Jefferson Park. There, police reported missing retail items and damage to the side glass window of the store.

The third incident happened on the far Northwest Wide near Moody and Touhy avenues.
It did not appear that the vehicle was used to crash into the stores, and it is currently unclear if the two incidents are related. No arrests have been made, and no suspects are in custody.
