Man charged with multiple Morton Grove burglaries, including condo in partially collapsed building

MORTON GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- A suspect from Chicago is facing multiple burglary charges after a surveillance camera captured footage of a man who allegedly burglarized a condo in a north suburban building that partially collapsed earlier this year, months after tenants were evacuated from their units.

The crime caught on video happened at a Morton Grove condominium complex in the 5900-block of Lincoln Avenue. Police confirmed that they responded to seven burglary reports on August 2.

Ibrahim Bin Nur Hussin, 31 of Chicago, was arrested Thursday and charged with four counts of burglary, officials announced Friday.

A former tenant shared a video showing the suspect walk into the condo before flipping the camera, police said. His face was covered in the footage.

The partial building collapse happened on March 7, and the building is now taped off.
