At least 5 injured in serious crash in Humboldt Park, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least five people were injured Wednesday in a serious car crash on the city's Northwest Side.

The crash happened near the 3700 block of Chicago Avenue in Humboldt Park.

Chicago Fire Department officials said they took five people with injuries from the scene to hospitals.

One person was in good condition, and four people were in fair to serious condition, CFD said.

No further information about the cause of the crash was immediately available.
