Video shows car explosion amid alleged 'takeover' on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An alleged "takeover" was filmed on Chicago's South Side over the weekend.

Video shows people ransacking and setting off an explosive inside a car in the Gresham neighborhood over the weekend.

Chicago police said they responded to a call on Saturday in the 1600 block of W. 76th Street, but no reports were filed.

It was not immediately clear if anybody was injured in the fire or explosion.
