Motorcycle rider killed in Englewood crash, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was killed in a crash in Englewood on Sunday, police said.

The crash happened at about 12:08 a.m. in the 7400-block of S. Halsted Street, police said.

A 54-year-old man was riding a motorcycle southbound on Halsted Street when it crashed with a black car, police said.

The 54-year-old was taken to an area hospital where he died.

Police said the driver of the black car made a U-turn at the intersection.

The driver of the black car was not at the scene when police arrived.

Nobody is in custody.
