4 injured in North Side crash; 1 in custody: Chicago police

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four people were injured in a crash on Chicago's North Side early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the crash took place in the 1200-block of North Larabee Street at around 3:04 a.m. Tuesday in the Goose Island neighborhood, when a driver in a white sedan traveling west on Division Street hit the rear of a blue sedan carrying four people. The collision caused the white sedan to lose control and hit a nearby pole.

Three of the passengers of the blue sedan were taken to St. Mary's Hospital. One had a leg injury, and other had unspecified injuries. No further injuries were reported. All passengers involved in the crash are reportedly in fair or good condition.

The driver of the white sedan is currently in custody with charges pending. His identity has not yet been released.
