2 shot while riding in car in Little Village, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two 18-year-old were shot Friday night in Little Village, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened at about 11:16 p.m. in the 2800 block of S. Sawyer Avenue, police said.

Both victims were in a car when someone on the street started shooting at the car.

One of the victims was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a gunshot graze to the head. He was in serious condition.

The other victim self-transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the body; he was also in serious condition.
