Crash-and-grab suspects break into 7 Eleven store in Irving Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a "crash-and-grab" on the city's Northwest Side.

The crime happened around 5:45 a.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of North Kedzie Avenue in Irving Park.

Police say the suspects crashed a white Jeep into a 7 Eleven store, and a group of at least four people stole items from inside.

A broken ATM was also found outside.

Police say they got away in a Blue Acura and another white Jeep.

No further information was available as Chicago police continue to investigate.
