Video captures brazen car theft outside hotel in the Loop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Video captured a car theft outside of a downtown hotel on Saturday morning.

It happened near the Palmer House Hilton hotel in the Loop around 6 a.m.

The video shows a 58-year-old man unloading his trunk near East Monroe Street and South Wabash Avenue when two people jump into his car and drove off.

Police are still looking for the suspects.

No injuries were reported, and further information was not immediately available.
