Man found stabbed to death in Gresham, CPD speaking with person of interest

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was found stabbed to death on Tuesday on Chicago's South Side, police said.

Police said they received a call at about 2:32 a.m. in the 900 block of W. 78th Street.

Officers responded toa well-being check and found a man with multiple stab wounds.

The adult man died at the scene, police said. No other information regarding the victim was available.

Chicago police said they were speaking with a person of interest.

CPD Area Two detectives are investigating.
