CHICAGO -- Chicago police are investigating overnight break-ins on the city's North Side.

The break-ins happened at about 3 a.m. in the 2300-block of N. Clark Street, police confirmed.

Video from ABC7 shows the damage at Big Apple Grocery Store and at Serai Cafe and Deli.

Broken glass and other damage was seen to both businesses.

Chicago police said cash registers were taken from at least one of the businesses.

Police are searching for several suspects who took off southbound in possibly a Kia Optima.

Nobody is in custody. Chicago police are investigating.
