Suspect causes damage at Loop nightclub during break-in, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a break-in at a nightclub in the Loop.

The crime happened just before around 5:03 a.m. Sunday this morning at Era Social Club near Clark and Van Buren streets, police said.

The front door glass of the business was broken and so were the windows.

Police said the suspect also caused damage inside the club before running away.

No other details have been released as Chicago police continue to investigate.
