Man killed in West Lawn hit-and-run; Chicago police searching for driver

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday night in Chicago's West Lawn neighborhood, police said.

The crash happened at about 11:12 p.m. in the 6800-Block of South Pulaski Road, according to police.

A 53-year-old man was near the sidewalk when he was struck by an orange Honda heading northbound on Pulaski, police said.

The driver of the Honda continued driving northbound.

The 53-year-old was rushed to Christ Hospital where he died.

No other information was availble.

Nobody is in custody.
