Woman sexually assaulted in Logan Square home invasion, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a home invasion and sexual assault on the city's Northwest Side.

The crime happened on Wednesday at about 11:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, police said.

A male suspect entered a home and allegedly sexually assaulted a 38-year-old woman, police said.

Police said the suspect also took some of the victim's things before running away.

The victim was taken to an area hospital; she is expected to be OK.

Nobody is in custody. CPD is investigating.
