Chicago Cultural Center celebrates 50 years of 'Siskel & Ebert'

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is set to celebrate two film critics who changed the way America talks about movies.

This year marks 50 years since the launch of "Siskel and Ebert."

They were known for their banter, their rivalry and their knack for finding amazing movies!

Chicago is planning many celebrations in November.

A month-long series will honor them revisiting their favorite "hidden gems" in November.

The series kicks off with "Eve's Bayou" on Wednesday Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Chicago Cultural Center at 78 E. Washington St.
