12 displaced after Logan Square house fire, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A house fire in the Logan Square neighborhood Monday night has left twelve people displaced, Chicago police said.

Police and firefighters responded at about 10:07 p.m. to the fire in the 1700-block of North Artesian Avenue.

Twelve people, seven adults and five children, escaped the fire unharmed and are now displaced, police said.

The Red Cross is helping those displaced as the fire department investigates.
