

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Fire Department is mourning Battalion Chief Sean Kevin. He was 53 years old.
Kevin had just gotten home after completing a shift when he passed away, according to the fire department.
The 30-year-old veteran became a Battalion Chief in 2023. He also served as a firefighter, lieutenant and captain.
CFD said Kevin had three children.
"We are asking for prayers for the Kevin and CFD families during this difficult time," a spokesperson for CFD said in a statement.
