A 6-month-old has been identified as a baby killed in an I-57 crash in Harvey, Illinois State Police and officials said.

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- The driver of a crash that killed a 6-month-old baby and hurt four toddlers over Labor Day Weekend has been charged. Police said none of the children were in car seats.

The rollover crash happened on Sunday at about 5:46 p.m. on I-57 north of 147th Street in Harvey, police said.

Six-month-old Dakari Lomax of Chicago died in the crash, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Latasha M. Hope, 33 of Hazel Crest, was charged with his death.

Illinois State Police said Hope was driving the red Ford SUV with a female passenger, four toddlers and baby Dakari.

Police said none of the children were wearing seat belts or were in their car seats.

Hope was charged with reckless homicide, aggravated driving under the influence and child endangerment resulting in death.

No other information was available.
