Woman sexually assaulted in Logan Square home invasion, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 36-year-old Chicago man has been charged in a Logan Square home invasion and sexual assault, Chicago police said.

Law Davison has been charged with home invasion with a firearm, home invasion/sex offense, aggravated criminal sexual assault with a firearm and felon in possession of a weapon, CPD said.

Davison was arrested Thursday morning in the 400-block of West 77th Street, CPD said.

He's accused of unlawfully entering a home about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800-block of North Milwaukee Avenue and sexually assaulting a 38-year-old woman, police said.

Police said the suspect also took some of the victim's things before running away.

The victim was taken to an area hospital; she is expected to be OK.

Davison was due in court over the weekend.
