Community advocate Zoe Ma to run for mayor of Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Another candidate is joining the race for Chicago mayor.

Zoe Ma is announcing her campaign Tuesday morning in Bronzeville.

Ma is a community advocate and real estate developer.

She said she's running as an independent progressive, focused on equity and opportunity.

She'll make it official at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Mayor Brandon Johnson has not announced if he's running again.

The election is in February.
