
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a break-ins in Old Town and the Gold Coast Tuesday morning.
The first incident took place at about 3 a.m. at the Gold Coast Market in the first block of West Chicago Avenue.
Police said three male suspects broke the front window of the business, but were not able to gain entry. They then fled in a gray hatchback.
The second incident took place at about 4:15 a.m. at the Old Town Pub in the 1300-block of North Wells Street.
Police said two male suspects broke the window of the business and entered, but it is not known if they took anything.
The suspects then fled in a silver or gray SUV and fled northbound, police said.
Area Three detectives are investigating. It is not known if the incidents are related.
