Chicago Police say no threat, injuries after 'incident's at Union Station

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said there was no immediate threat to the public after they were called to two separate incidents at Union Station on Tuesday morning.

At about 9:15 a.m. police said a man with a knife was taken into custody inside Union Station, police said.

The man was allegedly on the main platform when he threatened somebody.

No injuries were reported and he was taken into custody.

Around the same time, Chopper 7 was over the scene as first responders were called to check a "suspicious duffle bag" at the station.

Video shows a red bag hanging above the tracks near Jackson and Canal.

Police said the bag was determined to be safe, and the scene has since been cleared.
