3 injured, including 2 Chicago police officers, in South Side crash

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were injured, including two Chicago police officers, in a crash in the West Pullman neighborhood Wednesday morning, Chicago police said.

The crash occurred at about 3:14 a.m. in the 11900-block of South State Street.

Police said a 37-year-old woman was driving north on State Street when she disregarded a traffic signal and crashed into a CPD squad vehicle.

Two officers were transported to hospitals and were listed in good condition. The driver of the SUV had minor injuries and was hospitalized in good condition.

Charges and citations are pending, police said.
