Pride South Side celebrates LGBTQ+ community, 8th annual festival at DuSable Black History Museum

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Pride South Side returned for its eight annual festival Sunday.

The LGBTQ+ Pride event is being held at the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center on Chicago's South Side.

This year's theme is "Love in Action," focused on community, activism, and radical joy.

Organizers expected more than 3,000 people to attend the event.
