Chicago Restaurant Week spotlights Café Con Leche's 25 years in Logan Square

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago Restaurant Week is underway, and one Logan Square favorite has an extra milestone to celebrate.

Café Con Leche is marking 25 years in business as more than 500 restaurants across the city and suburbs take part in the annual dining event, which features multi-course meals at special prices.

The restaurant, which began as a coffee shop, has grown into a neighborhood fixture known for its Latin-inspired dishes. During Restaurant Week, Café Con Leche is showcasing menu favorites, including its carne chimichurri, highlighted during a recent morning television appearance by Chef Jose Solis and Director of Operations, with One Of A Kind Hospitality, Ellie Rico.

Chicago Restaurant Week runs through Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 8, and is designed to introduce diners to restaurants across the region during the winter dining season.
