Louis Vuitton on Chicago's Magnificent Mile robbed in middle of day: police

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Louis Vuitton store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile was robbed in the middle of the day Tuesday, Chicago police said.

Just before noon, a large group of suspects entered the business in the 900-block of North Michigan Avenue in Streeterville and stole merchandise, police said.

The suspects drove away in multiple vehicles in unknown directions with the items, police said.

CPD did not immediately provide any additional information about the suspects or if any weapons were involved in the daytime robbery.

No one is in custody, and the value of the items taken in the heist is not yet clear.
