2 found shot to death inside Englewood home, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were found shot to death inside a home in the Englewood neighborhood Friday morning, Chicago police said.

Police responded at about 2:33 a.m. to the 6600-block of South Normal Avenue.

Officers found a 38-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man each unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

Both the man and woman were pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

A weapon was recovered and Area One detectives are investigating.
