
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two men were shot, one fatally, Thursday morning on the city's North Side, Chicago police said.
The incident took place just before 7:20 a.m. in the 1400-block of West Thome Avenue in Edgewater, CPD said.
The men were outside when they were shot, police said.

A 53-year-old man was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he is in critical condition, police said.
A second man was taken there, where he died.
Two weapons were recovered.
It's not clear what led up to the shooting.
There was a large police presence in the area, which is around the corner from Northside Catholic Academy, a grade school.
