
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has been charged after two women were found shot and killed on Chicago's South Side, police said.
The shooting happened Saturday at about 10:50 p.m. in the 10400-block of S. Peoria Street, police said.
A 71-year-old woman and a 68-year-old woman were found shot to death in a home. Police said they were both shot in the chest.
The Medical Examiner identified one of the victims as 68-year-old as Phyllis Goolsby. Records show she lived at the home where she was shot.
The other was identified as Tuanna J. Thomas. She also lived in the block where the shooting occurred.
Tuesday morning, police said William Wallace Jr., 75, was arrested after the shooting. He has been charged with two counts of first degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
