Shots fired by ATF agent during robbery attempt in Walmart parking lot on South Side, officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An ATF agent fired shots at a suspect during an attempted robbery Thursday on Chicago's Far South Side, officials said.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon in a Walmart parking lot at 109th and Doty in Pullman.

According to the ATF, no one was hit by gunfire.

Three people were taken into custody and charges are pending.
