Man shot while walking near South Side gas station, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a shooting on Tuesday that left a 32-year-old man injured.

The shooting happened at about 3 a.m. in the 200-block of W. 103rd Street, according to police.

The victim was walking outside when he heard gunshots and felt pain.

The man was shot in the right arm and was taken to Trinity hospital.

CPD said the man is expected to be OK.

Chopper 7 was over the scene at about 7:50 a.m. where at least a dozen evidence markers where seen on the street near the Dollar General and the gas station.
