1 injured in I-57 shooting, Illinois State Police say

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois State Police investigated a shooting on the I-57 Expressway Monday morning.

Police said the incident occurred at about 12:35 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-57 near 127th Street.

Police said one person was transported to a hospital with injuries.

The northbound lanes of I-57 were closed between 147th Street and 127th Street. At about 5:30 a.m., all lanes were back open.
