Dan Ryan Expressway back open after investigation into possible shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A suspected shooting led to a closure on the Dan Ryan Expressway Monday morning.

Illinois State Police said a suspect fired a weapon at a victim's vehicle near 57th Street. No injuries were reported.

The outbound express lanes were closed at 29th Street with traffic being forced into the local lanes.

Shortly after 7 a.m., lanes were reopened, including the ramp from the Stevenson to the Dan Ryan.
