City preparing for 4 feet of snow

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city is planning for a bad winter.

The commissioner of Streets and Sanitation told the budget committee the city expects around four feet of snow this winter. The first storm is expected in less than a month around mid-November.

The city has 375,000 tons of salt at the ready.
