3 siblings killed in Thanksgiving apartment fire in Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, three young children were killed on Thanksgiving after an apartment fire in Kenosha.

For many who live off 43rd Avenue, it's difficult to look at the aftermath of a deadly fire that left three children dead, their father injured on Thanksgiving night.

Family and neighbors are grieving the loss of Connor, Rylee and Alena Kannin.

Connor, Rylee and Alena Kannin were identified as the siblings killed in a Thanksgiving apartment fire in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

"It makes me sick to my stomach, just looking at that place it," neighbor Latoya Cook said. "Don't want to drive past it, but unfortunately, I have to, but it's hard."

Cook lives in the same building and was with her daughter on their way back from a gathering when she saw the smoke and flames.

Surveillance video shows when the fire started to take over the apartment shortly after 10:30 p.m.

Moments later, people are seen running around the building as the smoke takes over the complex.

When Cook made it back to her apartment and saw the unit on fire she had one thing on her mind: the kids.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
