2 seriously hurt in I-90 crash involving semi in Huntley: Officials

HUNTLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were seriously hurt in a crash on I-90 in Huntley on Thursday morning.

The crash between a semi-truck and a Chevrolet Malibu occurred at about 4:25 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Route 47. The entrance ramped from Route 47 to the westbound lanes of I-90 is closed.

The driver and a passenger in the Malibu were both transported to the hospital with serious injuries, Huntley Fire Protection District and police said.

The truck driver was not injured.

No other information was available.
