CHICAGO (WLS) -- The public learned more about plans to extend the CTA Red Line from 95th Street to Chicago's Roseland neighborhood.

At an open house Tuesday night, the CTA said the 5.3 mile extension would include four new stations to be located at 103rd Street, 111th, Michigan Avenue and 130th Street. Each of those new stations would have bus and parking facilities.

The CTA says the meeting is part of a multi-step process to secure approval and funding for the project.
