Driver dies after crashing into parked school bus in Humboldt Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man died after allegedly crashing into an unoccupied school bus in Humboldt Park Tuesday, Chicago police said.

The crash happened at about 10:57 p.m. in the 2700-block of W. Augusta Boulevard, police said.

The driver of a gray car was allegedly speeding while heading eastbound on Augusta.

Police said the man then lost control, crashed into an unoccupied school bus and four other parked cars.

The driver died at the scene. Police did not release the man's age.

No other information was available.
