CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Teachers Union is getting closer to setting the date for a strike vote.

The union's House of Delegates will meet this Wednesday to determine when members can cast their ballots.

The union took a practice strike vote earlier this month. The results showed 97 percent of members would vote in favor of a walkout, if it was necessary.
