
DEKALB, Ill. (WLS) -- A naked man was arrested after at least three woman were sexually assaulted in downtown DeKalb, Illinois, police said.
Police responded around 1:15 p.m. Thursday to the DeKalb Public Library, 329 Oak Street, for calls about a man physically and sexually assaulting a woman.
When officers arrived, more emergency called reported another woman was being assaulted near the DeKalb Farmer's Market.
Police located a suspect in the assaults in the downtown area, who had removed his clothing and was complete naked as he was arrested, officials said.
A total of three female victims were located in the area who were sexually or physically assaulted. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspect who was arrested was taken to a hospital for a "narcotic medical evaluation," officials said. He remains in DeKalb police custody as charges are pending.
